Eric Binford is shy and lonely. Making a living from delivering film-related supplies and tapes in and around Los Angeles, Eric really only lives for the movies he watches and the film stars and characters that he fantasizes about. When bullied or betrayed, Eric consoles himself by imagining he is one of the many heroic or villainous characters he has seen on screen. A series of unpleasant events unfold, which weaken Eric’s already loose grip on reality, and he is sent into a murderous rage. Using ideas from the movies he has watched, Eric commits a series of gruesome murders.
