In this delightful family story, Farmer Hoggert (James Cromwell) visits the local fair where he wins Babe, a runt piglet. He takes him back to the farm where Babe is introduced to the other farm animals who soon become his friends. There’s Fly, the sheep dog who he calls Mom; Rex, her shepherding partner; Ferdinand the duck who thinks he is really a rooster and Maa, the matronly ewe, to name but a few. With the help of Fly and some tuition from Farmer Hoggert, Babe soon realises his talent in shepherding the sheep. When Farmer Hoggert enters himself and Babe into a competition, Babe faces the greatest challenge of his life…
